Several indicted in May

NORWICH – A Chenango County grand jury indicted individuals in May on various charges, including assault, drug offenses, pornography charges, and driving while intoxicated.
• Christopher L. Turner, 41, Preston, was indicted on two counts of first degree assault, a class B felony; burglary in the first degree, a class B felony; burglary in the second degree, a class C felony; assault in the second degree, a class D felony; aggravated criminal contempt, a class D felony; and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
It is alleged that on April 12, 2014, in the Town of Preston, that Turner did intentionally enter and remain in a residence where it’s further alleged that he intended to and did cause serious physical injury to two individuals, one of whom had a lawful order of protection against Turner. He will appear in court again at a later date.
• Darren L. Pollock, 27, Norwich appeared in CCC and was indicted on five counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony. Allegedly, on or about September 11, 2013, in the town of Norwich, Pollock, knowing the character/content thereof, produced, directed or promoted any performance which included sexual conduct by a child less than 17 years of age. It is alleged that he, knowing the character and content of, did promote by sharing still images of child pornography (one count for each image).
