June is a great month to find birds that breed in our area. They vocalize regularly and are typically busy with nest building and feeding young, making them easier to spot. Rogers Center is a great place to birdwatch because of the diverse habitats, good trail and easy access. Former Rogers Program Director and Chenango Bird Club member, Fred von Mechow, will lead the walk. A 20 time participant in the New Jersey Audubon Society World Series of Birding, Fred will point out birds’ visual field marks and songs. We will provide binoculars if you don’t have your own.

All are welcome and program attendees are welcome to stay for refreshments after the walk.
