Hanna: “I’m not in favor of impeachment”
NORWICH – United States Congressman Richard Hanna (R-New York’s 22nd District) said Sunday that he’s leery of threats from Congress Republicans to take legal action against the President but agrees the President has “refused to live by the law.”
“If it was done in a context of Congress being more productive on every other front, I would feel a lot better about it; but I don’t think it’s inappropriate,” Hanna said concerning House GOP plans to sue the President.
According to Hanna, President Barack Obama has used executive order to more than 40 times to sustain portions of the Affordable Care Act and continually sidestepped Congress in the process.
