CHENANGO COUNTY – All of Chenango County will have a Democratic only primary for the offices of Governor and Lieutenant Governor. Republicans only in the Towns of Coventry and Guilford will vote for County Committee positions.

The last day to apply for registration and enrollment for the September 9, 2014 Primary Election is Friday, Aug. 15. Mail registrations must be postmarked by Aug. 15 and received by the Chenango County Board of Elections by Aug. 20 to be eligible for this primary.

The public may register at the County Board of Elections, Chenango County Office Building, 5 Court St., Norwich, NY in person; or by calling 607-337-1760 or 607-337-1762 to request a mail registration form. Also, if you have moved within Chenango County since the last time you voted, you should update your address with the County Board.
