Local photographer displays work at Uncorked Cafe

NORWICH – Local Photographer A. Wesley Jones has been displaying his work at Uncorked Cafe and Lounge in downtown Norwich. The showing which included nearly a dozen photographs will be coming to a close Friday August 29. The work is for show, as well as for sale.

A. Wesley Jones has an extended history with photography in the Norwich area. Starting at the age of two, photos taken with his Kodak Instamatic camera were displayed with his parent’s work at the National Bank and Trust Company. A. is named after long-time Norwich photographer and photo shop owner, A. Wesley Gould. He grew up in his namesake's store and studio business which had been purchased by his parents, Casey and Judy Jones, and operated for over 30 years as Casey Jones Photos. Jones has taken photos for years, from school newspapers, to a photojournalist/reporter with a Schoharie County newspaper in the early 90s, to now primarily doing nature and event photography.
