Retired professional boxer, “Merciless” Ray Mercer, right, joined Eddy Pezzino of American Sports Equity in delivering an anti-bully message to Oxford Academy students Friday. Mercer stayed in Oxford on Saturday to present awards at the Clyde Cole Wrestling Tournament. The former boxer won a heavyweight gold medal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, and went on to capture the WBO heavyweight world title in 1991. Pictured in the front is Pezzino's son, Ashton. Mr. Pezzino graduated from Greene High School competing on the wrestling and football teams in the mid-1990s.
