The Place to host holiday celebration

NORWICH – On Saturday, Dec. 13, from 1-3 p.m., The Place will be hosting a Holiday Celebration sponsored by the Norwich Police Benevolent Association.
The event will feature an afternoon of fun activities for the whole family, including arts and crafts, live music with Joe Lombardi, a door prize, and light refreshments donated by Tops Friendly Markets. The event will also feature a holiday themed raffle with items donated by volunteers of The Place as well as local businesses and organizations, including The Parson’s Daughter, The Artists’ Palate, Seasons Gift Shop, Nazzitto's Wine and Liquors, Knapp Knoll Woodworks, Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H, Ye Olde Shanty, and Marna’s Handicrafts.
“We are looking forward to hosting a holiday celebration for the community,” said Executive Director, Rebecca Sands. “This will be a great event to get everyone in the holiday spirit. We have some great holiday themed raffle baskets, and fun arts and crafts projects for everyone.”
