While no injuries were reported in the fire, Edmeston Volunteer Fire Department Chief Art Klingler said the early morning fire at 201 Wharton Creek Road was deemed a total loss.

According to tri-county dispatch records, the fire was first reported at 2:53 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival of first-responders, Klingler indicated that the structure was fully involved, and that crews remained on the scene until approximately 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
