37 retire from Norwich Pharmaceuticals, an Alvogen Company
NORWICH – On Thursday, Dec. 1, Norwich Pharmaceuticals recognized and honored 37 employees who will be retiring on Dec. 31, 2014.
Collectively, the 37 retirees represent a total of 690 years of service. Five of the retirees having worked for the company for over 40 years.
The celebration kicked off with Charlie Andrews, VP of Operations, serving as the Masters of Ceremony and welcoming the retirees, special guests and company representatives.
After lunch each retiree was honored by their manager and recounted the various roles held during their careers, especially memorable moments with colleagues, individual contributions to business success, and plans for their future activities once retired.
Norwich Pharmaceuticals was founded in Norwich, NY in 1887 and has always garnered strong loyalty amongst its employees. For many employees, Norwich has been their only employer. This celebration of contribution was bittersweet, seeing so much historic knowledge and acquired skill leave the business at one time, but yet celebrating a new stage in the lives of the departing employees.
We can rest assured that Norwich is positioned for significant future success, based upon the foundation established by such an accomplished group of retirees.
