AFTON— A storage garage in Afton went up in flames yesterday afternoon; local firefighters put out the fire before it raged and caused further damage.

On Monday at approximately 2 p.m. a storage garage 100 feet behind the interstate off state Route 7 in the Town of Afton caught fire.

According to Afton Fire Chief Blane Reiling, four fire departments responded to the potentially massive fire and put in out within 20 minutes.
