NORWICH – Emergency crews responded to a two-car head on collision at the intersection of North Broad and Rexford Street in the City of Norwich shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday.

Norwich police say the driver of a mini van that was headed south on Broad Street veered to turn left onto Rexford Street and struck an SUV that was northbound, causing airbag deployment in both vehicles. The driver and passenger of the SUV were both transported to UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital via Norwich Fire for difficulty breathing.
