Libous seeks input for state’s $5 billion legal settlement

CHENANGO COUNTY – Senator Tom Libous (R-52nd Senate District) is seeking feedback from residents concerning the use of New York’s $5 billion from legal settlements.

With the budget process underway, Libous is collecting input through his “pocketbook survey” which has been mailed to many households throughout his district.

Libous said there have already been suggestions that include using the money for roads and bridges, paying down the state debt, cutting taxes or investing in economic development.
