GLENMONT, N.Y.– A Norwich small business owner was recently recognized for achieving exceptional growth as a new agent with a nationally reputable company.

Greg LaMonica, an agent with Farm Family insurance companies, was named the 2015 Farm Family 'Rookie of the Year' at the companies recognition dinner held in February.

Farm Family Farm Family Casualty Insurance Company, Farm Family life Insurance Company and United Farm Family Insurance Company, Glenmont, New York, have been protecting the plans and property of individuals, families and businesses for more than 60 years. The group serves 13 northeastern and mid-atlantic states.

The Rookie of the Year award recognizes agent achievement in their first 12 months with Farm Family. LaMonica had the highest total of new business in his first full year of production. He was named to the companies’ 2014 President’s Club, recognizing the companies’ top 10 performers and also qualified for the companies’ annual marketing conference.
