Chenango SPCA to hold bottle and can drive to combat pet overpopulation

NORWICH – The Chenango SPCA (CSPCA) is holding a bottle and can drive to help benefit the Spay, Neuter Outreach Opportunity for Pets program (SNOOP).

The public is asked to bring their returnable cans and bottles to the CSPCA shelter at 6160 County Rd. 32 (East River Rd.) in Norwich. The drive will be held on Thursday, March 19, from noon to 4 p.m.

Funds raised by the drive will assist community members who receive public assistance or are unemployed with the cost of a spay or neuter. Last year the Chenango SPCA gave out over $10,000 in spay/neuter costs that helped hundreds of area animals.
