Morrisville State College announces presidential search finalists
MORRISVILLE — The Morrisville State College Council announced Thursday that four finalists are vying for the top position at the college. The Presidential Search Committee has received nationwide interest from more than 40 qualified candidates.
Three of the four candidates have visited campus and the final candidate is scheduled to visit campus today. The finalists are: Dr. Marwan A. Wafa, vice chancellor and dean at the Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus; Anastasia L. Urtz, J.D., vice president, College Affiliated Enterprises and Asset Management, Onondaga Community College; Dr. David E. Rogers, provost and chief information officer, Morrisville State College; and Dr. Lawrence Barrett, president, Eastern Maine Community College.
“We are very fortunate to have four outstanding final candidates to consider for the presidency,” Morrisville State College Council Chair Kristi Andersen said. “It is an exciting time for Morrisville and we are confident that one of these candidates will be the right person to lead our vibrant campus.”
