NORWICH – The Chenango Valley Amateur Radio Association, Inc. (CVARA) will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, April 11, 2015.

The open house will be part of the year long celebration of the association's 50th anniversary year. There are several special events planned over the course of the next 12 months celebrating CVARA's part of Chenango County history.

The event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Room of the Guernsey Memorial Library in Norwich. An assortment of exhibits and demonstrations involving the use and science of amateur radio will be presented, and there will be members of the organization providing background and current information to all interested parties.
