Oxford 9, Walton 6
WALTON – Oxford won back-to-back games for the first time this season beating Walton on the road Wednesday.
Dylan Depew went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, and two runs scored to lead Oxford (4-5-1). Jon Heggie had two hits and two runs scored driving in a run, and Daniel Lawton went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Heggie pitched five innings to earn the win, and Kevin Davis struck out the side in the seventh for the save. "We had six extra-base hits, that's the most we've had this season, and we were definitely putting it in play more than normal," said Oxford coach Chris Palmer. "We had some baserunning mistakes and we made some errors, but we were able to overcome that adversity."
Oxford plays at Hancock Friday.

COPES CORNERS – Milford scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning to defeat G-MU Wednesday.
Jacob Tabor and Max Lang had RBI singles in the inning, and Lang scored the third run on a Mike Strenck fielder's choice.
Tabor had three hits, three runs scored, and two RBI for the Wildcats in the victory, and Ryan Lewis went 2-for-4.
Dan Primrose had three runs scored for G-MU and Andrew Baker drove in two runs. "We were right there, and to have it most of the game and lose it at the end was a little heart-breaking," said G-MU coach Dana Zietz.
G-MU hosts Franklin Friday.

Seton Catholic Central 10, Norwich 5
BINGHAMTON – At NYSEG Stadium Wednesday, Seton Catholic Central unlocked a tie game with four runs in the bottom of the fourth in a victory over visiting Norwich.
The Saints, who benefited from five Norwich errors during the contest, earned all four runs in the fourth on the strength of five basehits. Nathan Vaughn had three hits, one a double, to lead the Seton attack.
"We gave up a lot of hits and we gave up a lot of walks," said Norwich coach Rich Turnbull. "Our pitching is just wearing down."
Everett Thompson had a two-run single in the third for Norwich and finished 3-for-4. Pat Marks added two hits. Norwich left 10 runners on base including the bases loaded in the third and fifth innings.
Norwich plays at Susquehanna Valley today.

S-E's Brett Baker went 3-for-4 with three RBI, and Ben Khoury had two hits and one RBI. "We hit the ball the best we have all season, but we left a lot of guys on base," said S-E coach Jay Tackabury. "We made a lot of errors, and that was the name of the game."
