Monday Evening Musical Club presents annual recital and scholarship fundraiser

NORWICH – For 106 years, the Monday Evening Musical Club has been setting the stage for aspiring musicians to take the next step by providing scholarships that start their young careers on a high note.

On Monday, May 11, club members will continue that longstanding tradition with a free-will benefit recital starting at 7:30 p.m. at the United Church of Christ in Norwich. This annual event is open to public with all proceeds going directly toward the Monday Evening Musical Club Scholarship fund. Each year, club scholarships are awarded to deserving high school students who plan to pursue a music major in college.
