SHERBURNE – Spring is finally here, and with Mother's Day coming in up on Sunday locals will be out en masse searching for that perfect go-to gift – flowers.

Nestled in the rolling hills just north of the Village of Sherburne, Mountain View Gardens – owned and operated by Tammy Sawyer-Simpson – offers a unique and vibrant selection of well-established annuals and perennials now in full bloom just in time for Mother's Day.
Now in its sixth year of operation, Mountain View has continued to blossom into a gem of success by focusing on customer service, and offering one of the county’s most diverse selections.
“We pull in costumers from all over the area,” said Sawyer-Simpson. “Customer service and complete satisfaction are what make Mountain View different than the big-box stores, and we pride ourselves on that; our customers matter,” she added.
Beginning her journey into “flowerdom” back in 2009, Sawyer-Simpson has expanded the business with each passing year as demand increased. Mountain View not only supplies a beautiful array of perennials, but also hosts one of the most diverse selections of succulents and the ever-identifiable Hosta annuals in the county.
“We even dabble in some garden vegetables, but our primary focus is on colorful perennials and hanging baskets.”
Sawyer-Simpson also arranges unique and one-of-a-kind terrariums that make perfect gifts.
This weekend, Mountain View is running a Mother's Day special that will net shoppers a free plant with the purchase of a hanging basket.
