VESTAL – Norwich junior David Bernstein put together standout throws in the shot put and discus, and was named the outstanding male field performer at last Friday's Vestal Invitational.

Bernstein won the shot put with a season-best toss of 48 feet, 10 inches. He complemented that throw – despite steady rain – with a winning throw in the discus of 148 feet, 10 inches.
