Virginia woman dies, 2 young kids hurt in crash on NY's I-88

SIDNEY (AP) - State police say a 25-year-old Virginia woman has died and two young children are hospitalized after they were ejected from a vehicle that crashed and overturned on an upstate New York highway.
Troopers say Ericka Sa-Keema of Lorton was driving on Interstate 88 around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday when she crashed into the center median and her vehicle rolled over several times in the rural Delaware County town of Sidney.
Police say Sa-Keema was partially ejected from her vehicle and later died at a Binghamton-area hospital.
Troopers say 1-year-old Zamari Martin and 2-year-old Zavion Martin were completely ejected. Police say Zamari wasn’t properly secured in his child restraint seat and Zavion wasn’t in a child seat.
Information on the conditions of the two children isn’t available Thursday.
A 27-year-old man suffered a minor injury.
