McLaughlin’s – the local department store that just celebrated its 40th anniversary with a block party – was happy to donate and raise funds for various community groups. Anna McLaughlin said that McLaughlin’s and two other businesses that participated in the event and donated were Nina’s and Smokin Bones BBQ. The groups that benefited from the proceeds included: The Norwich Theatre Co, Norwich Dollars for Scholars, The Norwich Parent Teach Community Team and the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY.
