Hellcats blanked by Binghamton

BINGHAMTON – Binghamton Post #1645 avenged a one-run loss to the Hellcats last week picking up a shutout win Monday night.
Winning pitcher John Petrucci tossed a three-hitter striking out six Hellcats in a route-going performance.
Casey Walsh had two RBI for Binghamton driving home the first run in the second with a single, and capping the scoring in the fourth with an RBI groundout. Nate Keuter added an RBI single to left field in the fourth that scored Petrucci.
The Hellcats host Cooperstown today at 6 p.m.
