NHS hosting Get Basketball Clinic

NORWICH – Norwich High School will host the GET Basketball Camp July 6-9 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the Norwich High School gymnasium.
Presented by the Norwich Hurricanes, the camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 5-8. Conducting the camp will be newly-appointed Norwich varsity basketball coach, Brian Collier, and Sara Locke, a Norwich Middle School Mathematics teacher.
Collier has over nine years of coaching experience on the professional, collegiate, and high school levels. He is one of Norwich's all-time leading guards and played four years of collegiate basketball at Utica College of Syracuse University.
Locke is one of the most successful girls' basketball players in Chenango County history, and was a four-year basketball player at Oneonta State University.
A variety of skills and drills will be conducted during camp week with daily competitive games to close out each session. Each player will also be evaluated during the camp and receive a report card at the conclusion of the camp.
The cost for the four days is $75 per person. Registration information required is grade, address, email address, and t-shirt size. Send registration form and check payable to Norwich Hurricanes to 37 Sunset Dr., Norwich, N.Y. 13815.
