OXFORD – Oxford pitcher Austin Crawford struck out 12 in a four-hit shutout victory over Hamilton in Thursday's Otsenango Pony League game.
Tommy Palmatier went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs for Oxford. Palmatier had an RBI groundout in the fourth, and followed that up with a two-run single in the fifth. Dylan Depew added two hits, two runs scored, and two stolen bases. Jason Davis finished 2-for-3 at the plate as well.

SIDNEY – Sidney swept a doubleheader from Sherburne in Otsenango Pony League play getting strong pitching performances from Dante Scott and Mike Gravelin.
Scott tossed a 1-hit shutout in the opener striking out seven in five innings of work. Nate Gorshack led Sidney at the plate finishing 2-for-2.
In the second game, Gravelin had two hits to help his own cause, and struck out five Sherburne batters in a two-hit complete game.

Chenango Hellcats 12, OCO Elites 4
NORWICH – The Chenango Hellcats took advantage of 10 base on balls and eight errors to beat the OCO Elites Thursday at Norwich.
The Hellcats’ John Yacano went 2-for-4 with two RBI, three stolen bases, and one run scored. Jon Liuzzo scored three times and stole two bases, Cameron Heggie had three stolen bases, and Jon Heggie, Tommy Voce, and Conor Graven-Briggs scored two times each. As a team, the Hellcats finished with 11 stolen bases.
"Being on base is a big part of today's game, and having a good on base percentage, I'll take that every time," said Hellcats coach Jason Miller.
Austin Taylor went 3-for-3 to lead the Elites.
