Johnson City 4, Chenango Hellcats 0
JOHNSON CITY – Johnson City avenged a loss to the Hellcats from earlier this season getting a three-hit shutout from Nick Trayling in Monday's American Legion matchup.
Trayling was not dominant on the mound striking out two, and instead relying on nearly error-free JC defense.
Cody Arvanitakis went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the win, Andy Furman drove in two runs for JC, and Nick Chilson also had two hits.
Chilson and Furman had RBI singles in the first inning to open up the early lead.
The Hellcats play at Binghamton Post #80 today at 6 p.m.

Otsenango Pony League

Norwich 8, Sherburne 3
SHERBURNE – Marcus Cashman had nice days at the plate and on the mound as Norwich improved its mark to 6-0 in the Otsenango Pony League with a win over host Sherburne Monday.
Cashman went 2-for-3 with three RBI, and he drove in one of the four runs in the second that opened the Norwich lead to 5-1. Cashman pitched five strong innings for the win as well striking out nine and surrendering just one Sherburne hit.
Mike Trevisani, Payton Stirone, and J.T. Vinal also had single ribbies for Norwich, who play at Hamilton Wednesday.

Oxford 7, Sidney 2
SIDNEY – Dylan Depew pitched six dominant innings for Oxford striking out 12 in an Otsenango Pony League victory at Sidney Monday.
Josh Nelson and Josiah Crandall led Oxford at the plate with four combined hits and two RBI.
John Fink had a two-run single in the fourth for Sidney.
