Chenango Hospice readies for tenth annual golf tourney

GREENE – Hospice and Palliative Care of Chenango County have announce a date and venue for its annual Mary Jane Prindle Memorial Golf Tournament that is celebrating a decade of success this year.

While the core mission of the much anticipated tourney is about raising much needed funding to assist in the continued operation of the nonprofit, organizers also said that an emphasis is likewise placed honoring both past an present patients of the organization.

“The tournament is a great way for community members to show their support for Hospice while enjoying beautiful Chenango County,” said Kendall Drexler, Development & Clinical Outreach Coordinator at Chenango Hospice.

The tournament was chartered and organized by Walt Prindle as a memorial to his late wife, Mary Jane who utilized Hospice service for her end of life care.

Price for the captain and crew format event is $320 per team and includes a greens fees, golf cart, pizza lunch and a picnic buffet dinner.
