CAC to offer evening painting workshops

NORWICH – The Chenango Arts Council and Wilson Ceramics are pleased to announce the offering of two new “Drink Wine & Let’s Design” workshops to be held at the Chenango Arts Council on 27 W. Main St, Norwich.

Beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday Oct. 2, community members of all artistic capability are invited to join in the new workshop themed “Spooktacular Full Moon”. Again, this is a painting workshop for any level artist – no experience necessary. The course is a step-by-step “how to” paint while enjoying your favorite wine, wrapping up at around 9 p.m.

The Arts Council will offer another opportunity to “get your art on” on Friday, Nov. 13. Call ahead to reserve your seat for yet another “Drink Wine & Let’s Design” workshop from 6 - 9 p.m. with the theme “Fall Glassware”. Participants will receive a set of four wine glasses.

Workshop fees are $35 for members and $45 for non-members, and includes workshop instruction, paint, palette, brushes and canvas. Painters are encouraged to bring their favorite bottle of wine to enjoy while being led step-by-step by instructor Matthew Wilson

Registration and payment for the Oct. 2 workshop is due bu Sept. 25, and likewise registration and payment for Nov. 13 event is due by Nov. 6.
