Norwich Cyclones open season

NORWICH – The Norwich Cyclones opened their 46th season at Alumni Field in Norwich this Sunday, September, 6.

The Cyclone “B” Team downed the Whitestown Warriors 36-12.

Michael Squires hit paydirt 3:30 into the game on a 15-yard touchdown run, with Andrew Mullen kicking the two-point, point after touchdown (P.A.T.). Izaiah Cabellero recovered the ensuing kick-off at the Warrior 28.

The Cyclones launched a 72-yard drive culminating in a 14-yard TD run by Cameron Byrne with Mullen kicking a two-point P.A.T. for a 16-0 first quarter lead.

Andrew Mullen reached the end zone in the second on an 11-yard jaunt. Jaden Jenkins added a two-point Cyclone safety for a 24-0 half time Cyclone lead.
