NORWICH - The first week of the 10 week league “Golden 20’s” which meets at Family Recreation Lanes in Norwich saw many close matches. This week on top of the leader board is the team of E&D with seven total points. Following close behind in a five way tie for second place are S&R, “LA” Ham, 2 Blind Mice, Challengers, and M&M; all with five total points.

Eric Wahlberg took home top honors in the Men’s 600 games, bowling a 629. Wahlberg also threw the top Men’s 200 game as well with a 222, beating out the next man, Denny Hoxie by nine points. In the women’s league Darla Race took home both the top 500 game and the top 200 game, bowling a 433 and 163, respecfully.

The leauge meets every Wednesday and will be back in action tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
