The Village of Greene Fire Department along with Brisben, Smithville, Willet, Oxford, McDonough and Chenango County Fire Coordinators were at the scene of a two-story fully involved structure fire at 275 Collier Road in the Town of Smithville late Friday night. The blaze consumed the entire house, which according to officials on the scene was still under construction and unoccupied. No injuries were reported, and the cause is still under investigation according to the Fire Bureau.
