Area residents travel to see Pope Francis
Walter Rojas, with The Knights of Columbus, organized a bus trip for approximately 40 area residents to travel to Philadelphia to see Pope Francis. The area attendees were from Norwich, Greene and Cortland. Millions were in Philadelphia for the Pope’s visit. Approximately 4,000 buses provided transport for those from afar. Additional photos, including one of Rojas (lower left on back page) appear on page 8 of today’s edition.
