Greene stuns Unadilla Valley 9-0, while S-E loses on their senior night

GREENE - Yesterday, Thursday, October 1, Greene hosted Unadilla Valley in a game in which Greene would dominate and win 9-0.

Eight different players for Greene got a chance to score last night as they rolled over UV. Starting the game off was Spencer Klumpp. Klumpp would take the ball and put it past the UV defenders and into the net for the score. He would finish with one goal and one assist on the night. Greene’s Ben Kinney contributed two goals for the Trojans as well. Also scoring for Greene were Luke Day, Jake Ledford, Brian Leone, River Mccumiskey, Jake Cook, and Scott Lord.

The UV defense had trouble keeping up with the Greene attack that recorded 22 shots and 10 corners on the night. The Trojans also dominated the defensive side of the field, keeping UV to only two shots all game.

After last night’s game Greene improves to 10-1 on the season, while UV is 1-7-1 overall.
