Cyclones “B” team remains undefeated

HOLLAND PATENT - The Cyclone “B” Team downed the Holland Patent Knights 27-16 this Sunday, October 11.

Andrew Mullen reached paydirt twice in the first quarter on a 25-yard touchdown toss from Griffin Mills and a nifty, 65-yard punt return. Mills also found Dylan Bresee for a 49-yard pass for a second quarter touchdown, giving the Cyclones a 18-0 half time lead.

Mullen returned a Knight punt 36-yards to the 10, setting up Griffin Mills shotgun 10-yard touchdown run in the third. Dylan Bresee hit Jaden Jenkins for the point after touchdown (P.A.T.) to move the score to 25-0 going into the fourth.

Mills was 3 for 3, passing for 90 yards on the day. Michael Squires, Cameron Byrne and Mullen led the Cyclone ground game. The Cyclones scored a safety in the fourth for a 27-16 Cyclone win.

The Cyclone defense was led by Squires, Byrne, Jared Houck, with Ben Glanville having QB sacks. Jaden Jenkins, Hunter Wenzel, Izaiah Cabellero, Joey Marvin and Mallachi Gaters also played strong D. Adding to the defense, Mills had an interception and Jaden Jenkins had a fumble recovery.
