NORWICH - Winning week seven of The Evening Sun Football contest was Mike Garofalo of Norwich. Garofalo broke a tie with another picker by picking the total score of the Cortland - Alfred football game as 49, the actual score was 20-14 making a total of 34.

Garofalo was three points closer than the other picker’s 52 total points. This week Garofalo only missed three games for a total of 17. Tripping up many pickers, including the winner this week was the Indiana - Rutgers game in which Rutgers would win. Most pickers, except for a select few, chose Indiana.
