Oxford Lions Club sets date for annual Halloween Parade

OXFORD – The annual Halloween parade sponsored by the Oxford Lions Club has been scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 25 2015.

Registration begins at 1:15 p.m. at the Oxford Fire Station on Fort Hill Park. The parade will start at 1:30 p.m. at the Fire Station. The parade will be outside, weather permitting. Halloween music will be provided by fellow Lion Jim Baldwin. The club will award prizes for the best costumes in each of seven categories: Pre-K, kindergarden and first grade, 2–3 grades,4–5 grades, middle school, high school, and group or family. Oxford high school students volunteer their time to judge the costumes each year.
