NORWICH – In light of next week’s elections, the Chenango County Board of Elections is reminding residents that it will be open for extended hours this week for people who wish to complete their absentee ballot application and cast their ballot as an absentee.

Absentee ballots can be obtained by individuals who will be out of the area on election day or if they are physically challenged and authorize someone else to pick up their absentee ballot application and ballot.

In addition to regular hours on Friday, the Board of Elections office will open again from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Any other voter related business can also be processed at that time.
