ONEONTA – The Greater Oneonta Historical Society is presenting a special program in observance of November being New York History Month.

On Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m., the Oneonta History Center, 183 Main St., will host Susan Goodier, PhD, who will present “New York: A Collage of History,” highlighting events from the rich history of the state.

Goodier specializes in New York State history and women’s history and is a lecturer in the department of history at SUNY Oneonta. Her doctorate is in Public Policy History from the University at Albany, and she is Book Review Editor for the New York History journal.
