Oxford Library to showcase Robert Rogers

OXFORD – Everyone faces challenges in their life as they grow up, even Hercules, son of the mighty Zeus.

On Thursday, Nov. 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m, the Castle Creek, N.Y. based Robert Rogers Puppet Company will make a re-scheduled stop at the Oxford Memorial Library next week for the librarys' November installment of Family Night to share the intriguing story of young Hercules who – while very strong – faced the same problems and challenges that all other children face.

Like all children, young Hercules has to deal with the ordinary struggles: from trying to fit in with the other kids, to living up to his father’s high expectations. The show teaches young audiences the importance of perseverence under pressure; and how mortals face similar adversities.
