Taylor’s Country House sweeps match to move into third

NORWICH - First place in the Industrial Mixed Bowling League still belongs to Smith Productions this week after play on Monday, November 23.

Making moves into third place was the team of Taylor’s Country House. This week the third place team swept their match 7-0 for the fourth straight week to move into third place with 48 points, just behind Ye Ole Shanty with 52. With only four weeks left to play, the standings are getting close at the top as competition heats up.

For the men it was Larry Mudge who took both the high triple and single games, bowling a 688 triple and a 254 single game. Coming in just behind Mudge was Jim Kenyon with a 649 triple game and Tiger Smith with a 246 single game.

Charity Mills swept individual play for the ladies. Mills bowled a 582 triple game and a 201 single game to take home top honors; beating out Adelia Mullins’ 542 triple game and 190 single game.
