SHERBURNE – For more than 20 years, the Sherburne-Earlville Teachers Association has been providing the gift of reading for the holidays by giving out free books to students and community members of all ages.

This year, the Association gifted more than 1,000 books during the annual Sherburne Christmas parade that was held in downtown Sherburne on Saturday.

Books for the giveaway are collected by teachers, students and other members of the community throughout the year which helps make the event grow a little bit bigger each holiday season.
