S-E boys down Holland Patent 58-46
SHERBURNE - Hosting Holland Patent on Friday, December 18, the S-E boy's varsity basketball team earned another victory 58-46.
The Marauder boys consistently out-scored the visitors all game, ending the first quarter 16-9. Matt Hull led the Marauders in their win on Friday, scoring 15 of their 58 points. Also scoring big for S-E was Ian Fleming who scored 14.
The second quarter was a little more difficult for S-E, only scoring 12 and allowing 11 to put the half time score at 28-20 in favor of the home team.
The third quarter is where S-E really began to hit their stride. The Marauder boys scored 20 in their biggest quarter of the night. The S-E defense stepped up as well and held Holland Patent to 12 to increase their lead.
As the fourth and final quarter came to a close, S-E found themselves up by 12 and out of reach for a Holland Patent comeback.
