MVC early Tuesday
The City of Norwich Police Department along with Norwich Fire responded to a reported two-vehicle MVC at the intersection of N. Broad Street and Sunset Drive at approximately 8:30 a.m., Tuesday.
The incident near the north city line slowed traffic to a single lane for a time as first responders worked swiftly to clear scene of the head-on collision that left two pickup trucks mangled.
NPD on the scene were still gathering information and conducting interviews, and it was unknown who was at fault or if any tickets were issued at press time.
