AFTON- A low scoring first half led to the demise of the Crimson Knights in last Friday nights game against the Oxford Blackhawks.
Crimson Knights had a rough start the other night with only 6-points in the first quarter and 7 in the second quarter leaving it hard for them to come back the rest of the game.
With The Blackhawks scoring a total of 14 in the first and 17 in the second they left very little room for Afton to make a comeback, while also keeping a playoff run alive for their season.
Crimson Knights came out in the third quarter with some force but could not score enough points to bring them back in to the lead. Baskets spread almost evenly across the team The Blackhawks took home the win with Josh Nelson being the top player of the night scoring 14 and Kevin Davis not trailing to far being with 11.
