Sheriffs bust meth lab in Lincklaen
LINCKLAEN – Two Lincklaen residents were arrested Wednesday for their alleged involvement in a meth manufacturing operation.
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Alyssa R. Jackson and 28-year-old James Kelly, both of Lincklaen, were making methamphetamine in a makeshift lab inside their home at 906 County Road 13.
After receiving information of a possible meth lab, police responded to perform a “knock and talk.” That’s when they say they found burn piles at the residence that contained several one-pot methamphetamine cooks “in plain view,” and a gas mask in the yard.
