Man accused of knifing cat
NORWICH – Casey Ray Wright, 22, of Norwich was arrested at approximately 11:54 p.m. on Feb. 17 by members of the Norwich Police Department for allegedly injuring a cat with a knife.
The cat was treated by a local veterinarian. The cat required several stitches to be administered to the injuries as well as staples; however, police say it’s doing fine and is in no immediate danger or risk.
