NORWICH – A 27-year-old woman was arrested by authorities for her alleged involvement in a meth lab in the Town of Norwich.

On Feb. 14, 2016, the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motel south of the City of Norwich for a report of a ‘one-pot’ meth lab said to be located in the dumpster.

After further investigation, authorities said that “additional ‘one-pots’ were located behind one of the motel rooms.”

Several ‘one-pot’ meth labs, laboratory equipment, and additional evidence was removed from the location.

Nine days later, the CCSO Narcotics Division filed an arrest warrant for Rachel E. Cummings of Norwich.
