Changes in Artistic Discovery keeps young art local

NORWICH – Unlike previous years, students participating in the annual Artistic Discovery competition no longer send artwork directly to Congressman Richard Hanna’s offices in Binghamton and Utica.

As a result of this change, the Chenango Arts Council is encouraging Chenango County students to continue to enter their work in its long-standing local show, open to the public.

Chenango County school district art teachers agreed, and have filled the Arts Council gallery with the works of their talented students from all participating districts in the county.
