Norwich man arrested for recent burglary in New Berlin
NEW BERLIN – Following a trespass in progress complaint in the Village of New Berlin, one local man was arrested and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility.
Jason J. Hoey, 44, of Norwich was arrested on March 11, for the crimes of burglary in the second degree, a class C violent felony; and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor.
When the New Berlin Police Officers responded they located Hoey outside of the residence after he allegedly had entered, and damaged property. These actions caused Hoey to violate an order of protection.
