‘Pitch Night’ invites innovators to sell their idea
OXFORD – Good ideas don’t have to stay ideas.
That’s the underlying message of “Pitch Night,” a one-night opportunity for local dreamers and entrepreneurs to put their good ideas into motion.
Pitch Night is a chance for individuals and groups to sell their idea to a panel of professionals in exchange for feedback and direction to local resources that may help bring their concepts into fruition.
Pitch Night will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Oxford Academy High School Auditorium. The event is free and open to all ages. Anyone interested in participating should be ready with a brief three to five minute oral presentation.
The Pitch Night panel consists of three experts, each offering a unique perspective of the business development process. Panelists include: Commerce Chenango President and CEO Steve Craig; female entrepreneur and executive coach Ariana Blossom; and Michelle Catan of the New York State Small Business Development Center.
